Aeromillas is the frequent flyer program for Ecuador-based Aerolineas Galapagos (AeroGal). Members are able to earn miles for travel on AeroGal flights within Ecuador, Columbia, and the United States.

Earn Opportunities

Members earn actual miles flown on AeroGal flights to and from Ecuador and Columbia according to the mileage chart on the Aeromillas website.

Redeem Opportunities

Accrued Aeromillas miles can be redeemed for free AeroGal flights starting at 2,000 miles for a one way ticket for travel inside Ecuador.

Transfer Opportunities

American Express Membership rewards appears to be the best partner for transfers. 2 Membership Rewards points transfer to 1 Aeromilla.

Conclusion

As this program is only open to residents of Ecuador (any nationality), joining only makes sense for a small subset of travelers. With earning opportunities limited to flights on AeroGal metal, it might be better to earn with American Express and transfer into AeroGal.
