Program Overview

Aptly named Rahal (Arabic for "traveler"), Afriqiyah Airways' frequent flyer program focuses mainly on earning and burning miles mainly through air travel.

Earn Opportunities

Members earn miles based on the distance traveled on Afriqiyah flights. There are 3 tiers of membership: Blue, Silver, and Gold. Blue Card members earn a 10% mileage bonus. Silver Card members receive a 25% bonus, and Gold Card members earn 50%.

Redeem Opportunities

Rahal miles earned can be redeemd for free air travel on Afriqiyah Airways, or for merchandise and services, such as priority bookings or airport lounge access.

Conclusion

There don't seem to be many benefits for people who travel mainly outside of Libya, but if you do, this could be the program for you. There are intangible benefits for Blue, Silver, and Gold Card members, such as priority waiting list and extra weight allowance for baggage.
