Program Overview

Korean Air SKYPASS program is the comprehensive frequent flyer program open to all Korean Air customers, with no application or annual fees to apply. Uniquely, there is a SKYPASS Junior membership for travelers under 12 years of age, and there are programs available travelers who fly more frequently. The SKYPASS program is easy to manage, with the balances and awards available 24 hours a day online.

Earn Opportunities

Miles are easily accrued through travel, hotel stays, patronizing Korean Air partner companies, car rentals, or using a SKYPASS Visa or Diners Club International card for purchases. Korean Air partners with Hertz, Avis and Hanjin Rent-A-Car, and is affiliated with numerous hotel chains worldwide, including KAL Hotels, Hilton Hotels and the InterContinental Hotels Group. Mileage earned is valid for five years from date of accrual.

Redeem Opportunities

Miles may be redeemed for upgrades or tickets on Korean Air. Using your Korean Air SKYPASS card also entitles you to discounts or bonuses at affiliated restaurants, theme parks, car rental companies, museums and theaters, and for medical stays.

Transfer Opportunities

Miles accumulated through use of partner companies are valid for Koran Air awards. Korean Air miles can not be used to purchase travel on partner airlines, however, discounts may be available when your SKYPASS card is presented for purchases. SKYPASS members can use their miles to purchase travel for their immediate family, as well as for themselves.
